Default Section in OneNote

Hello,

Is there a way to set a default section in OneNote where the file opens to every time, like a homepage?  I have set up procedures in different sections and would like the notebook to open to the same page every time.  Currently it opens to the last page a user was on when the notebook closed.  If that isn't possible, is there a way to run a script on close that goes to a certain location prior to closing?

Thank you!

Mary

    For local notebooks:

    Create a new desktop shortcut with target

    <path to onenote.exe "path to a section file">

    If you really distribute the notebook then you have to create a specific local shortcut (regarding possibly different local paths) on all recipient computers.

    If you would share the notebook on OneDrive the shortcut would be technically different but the same for all recipients.

    There is no feature like a homepage in OneNote itself.

    I am sending the procedures (the OneNote notebook) to others...maybe I could create a desktop shortcut on each of their computers?  So there's no way to code it inside the file?
