Access 2016 Navigation Pane new bug ?

ciao a tutti :-)

I’m performing a new Access2016 weird behavior regarding navigation pane.

Getting it narrowed, it seems the mouse lost its capability to restrict it again and Access does not allow to proceed anymore without pressing F11.

Is someone here try effecting the same steps in order to verify whether we are talking about a new bug?

How to reproduce.

Try narrowing navigation pane till this width (about) :

Then no way to enlarge or restrict anymore till F11 function button keystroke.

any comments will be highly appreciated.

Ciao!

Sandro.

Hi Sandro,

there are many, many, many threads... e.g.

https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/5cb8da3f-22ea-44b5-a3c2-8f715197fb96/navigation-pane-will-not-expand-righthand-vertical-resize-handle-disappears?forum=accessdev

https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/fac92f2a-f0f3-4739-a576-f23dfb75cdb8/navigation-pane-will-not-expand?forum=accessdev

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3704179/cant-resize-access-2007-navigation-pane

etc. etc.

After waiting for several years on a fix by MS some months ago I decided to report it to the Access team. At least they finally are aware of it. ;-) However I don't know if and when there will be a fix.

This is an old bug that was present in older versions too. :-(

    ciao Hans,

thanks a lot for your reply.

Never found before, and in Access2010 I'm unable to replicate it.

    ciao e grazie mille.
