Word App - Change default save folder?

I'm using the Word app on android, and I want to change the folder which new files get saved to by default.

Right now, the auto-save function saves any new document I create in a seemingly random folder in my onedrive account. I want to change it to a different, specific folder so that it will save all new documents there by default. On the options page, I only see the ability to turn autosave on/off, not a way to direct which folder it saves to.

How does the app determine which folder its files go to? Is there a way to change it?

Hello,

Open Word app then click on New, as soon as you are about to create a new file there is a option where show you exactly the default storage location, just click there to change it after you select a new path click on set by default.
