Password reset notification email

******@contoso.com and ******@contoso.com are both contact emails registered to a shared mailbox.

User resets password and chooses email to receive the code for resetting, he choses ******@contoso.com and he was able to reset the password

Then the password notification reset was sent and ******@contoso.com received it and on the recipients ******@contoso.com also received it.

We looked at the personal info, contact preferences and also the aliases but ******@contoso.com cannot be found there

We also checked for the email addresses and delegation on the shared mailbox and we cannot find it there

Lastly, every password admin, user management admin & global admin on the portal doesn't have the email registered.

Are there any other options to look for it?

    To understand the issue better, please provide the following information:

    1. Which account password user tried to reset? Was he trying to reset Office 365 account password?
    2. Please confirm the steps user took to reset the password.
    3. Some related screenshots will be appreciated.

    Additionally, please check if you’ve setup an email forwarding to ******@contoso.com.
