Hi,

I was trying to copy a word document and insert it into another word document. When I did it, I remember it asking cannot undo which I thought was strange but after it pasted it to the document I wanted it added it, it not only moved things around but I cannot undo it. How can I get back to undoing or get back to the previous last version before I added it? Please help

If you have not Saved the document you should be able to Close it without saving the changes in order to retain only what it contained prior to the last save.

Just speculating based on lack of detailed information: Your use of the term "edit protected" suggests that you may have done this in a Windows version of the program. If so, it's quite possible that you used protection settings which are not provided in Mac Word.

What did you copy/paste, exactly? Some actions can't be undone in Word, but a usual copy/paste operation shouldn't be one of them.
