Text turns grey when saving

I have downloaded an online Word template for a resume that has cells you can edit/fill. One cell in particular is too short, but if I click to increase its height, the text turns grey when I click "save" and I can no longer edit it.

Why is this and what can I do about it?

    Hi,

I just checked online to see if I could spot the template set this way. I found more than 70 resume templates for Word from Microsoft, so that is a non-starter. This is hard to respond to because we don't know which template you are referring to and can't see the problem. I speculate that it is a content control that closes for editing once it is filled in, but do not know. If you want, save a sample document with the problem on OneDrive or Dropbox and paste a link here. Remove any confidential or sensitive information first. I or someone else can take a look at it.

This is a user-to-user support forum. I am a fellow user. There is no need to check this this did not solve your problem. It is information gathering so that I or someone else will be able to do so. Please let me give you a solution by providing more information.

    Regards
