Finding Tags in OneNote Using Mac

Hi there, why can't I search for all of my Tags in OneNote? Is it because I'm also using a Mac Book? It works a gem on my PC. I'm guessing this is something the Microsoft OneNote development team didn't consider with iOS. My feedback is it's fundamental that it works across all our platforms, especially for businesses. As a company we may have to look at an alternative solutions. Maybe something like EverNote. Although I'd much prefer OneNote to be fixed and updated. Fan of Microsoft but this is really a big miss for us. Thanks and hope to hear back from a OneNote product development team rather than the Q&A people if that ok. Thanks.

    Hi Dion,

Based on my test, I can find my tags in OneNote for iOS and OneNote for Mac.

    Here are my steps:

    1. Click the search icon on the side(left for iOS, right for Mac) of my notebook's name.

    1. Type the content of my tag. I can also find other types of tags.
    2. I can find my tag.

Please follow my steps to have a try and share with me your result.

If you still can't find your tags, please share with me more info as below to let me have a better understanding of your scenario:

    1. The version number of your OS(Apple menu>About this Mac) and OneNote(OneNote>About Microsoft OneNote e.g. 16.xx).

    1. Detailed steps about how do you reproduce this issue.
    2. Does this issue happen to all section/notebooks even newly created ones or only related ones?

    Thanks,

    Neo

You're finding the content of your tags, not the tags themselves. There's no way to search for everything that I've tagged with a star, for example.
