I started an excel file that has 7 columns and I entered data from rows 5 through 119 then I used the sort low to high and it sorted correcting. Then I entered more data in rows 120 to 158 and it sorted this but it would 5 to 158 sorted correctly together. How do I do this?

What is the exact problem when you try to resort? Are you saying that when you resort the sorting is not happening properly?

The problem might be that you select a) more then one cell or b) not all cells that should be sorted.

If you select one cell Excel detects all contiguous cells automatically.

    Does that solve the issue?

I need to have a look on your workbook to provide you the solution specific to your problem.

Request you to please prepare and upload a sample / dummy file sans confidential / sensitive data to Onedrive and share the link? It will help me to give prompt and right solution.
