HI

Creating a new list, one of the fields should be " external content type", but i´m getting this message:

EXTERNAL CONTENT ARE NOT AVAILABLE. CONTACT YOUR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR..

Really, I will need that field could be sometimes editable and sometimes choice

Is it possible?

Hi Cornejo,

To select External Content Type, the administrator should do some things first like: prepare the external data source, Configure Business Data Connectivity Services, Create an external content type etc. Thus, please contact your administrator first.
