Hello,

I have Microsoft project. I am facing an issue when I switch tabs. Whichever tab I switch, the title shows "Gantt Chart Tools". What could be the issue?

I don't even see the proper tools when I select Reports tab.

Thanks

    RevivalTech,

Actually that is normal operation. What you see is "Gantt Chart Tools" displayed above the Format tab. That is not the title. The Title is "[project name] - Microsoft Project" displayed at the top middle of the view. Try clicking on View > Resource Usage. You should see "Resource Usage Tools" appear above the Format tab.

    Hope this helps.

    John

Thanks for the quick response. I tried both the options, but still doesn't work. The issue persists. I am wondering why is the title not changing when I switch to any other tab other than "Task"?

Hi RevivalTech, is Microsoft Project part of your Office installation or the standalone version?

If it is part of your Office Installation:

Click this link to download and run the Microsoft Office Configuration Analyzer Tool, to see if that can resolve the problem with you Ofiice installation:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/detail...

Otherwise, follow these steps to perform a full repair of your Office installation . . .

Open Control Panel - Programs and Features

Click Microsoft Office in the list of installed applications

    At the top, click 'Change'

On the resulting dialog, click 'Repair' - choose the online repair, it is a comprehensive fix

That should fix any issues with your Office Installation . . .
