we are getting this error a lot

We are not using office 365

Hardware Acceleration is disabled via Group Policy

    That is the "Microsoft Online Services Sign In Assistant". It shouldn't be needed with Office 2013 and up though.

    Do you have a firewall rule blocking it?

    Try repairing your Office installation. First try Quick Repair (takes 5 - 10 mins) , if that doesn't help then try Online Repair (Takes more than 30 mins but less than 1 hour in general)

    Note - Please repair only if you have product key with you as sometimes it asks for the product key again after the repair.
