Another method is to enter the numbers 1 to 11 in a column, select both columns and sort the numbers largest to smallest.

Hi,
With data in range A2:A12, enter this formula in cell B2 and copy down
=INDEX($A$2:$A$12,COUNTA(A2:A$12),1)
Hope this helps.
Thank you all for your quick responses

I guess it's my fault. I wasn't clear.
Process:
First, the user selects a range of cells manually.
Then, we have the add-in or button: its code should identify the active range and then paste it in reverse order, horizontally or vertically, into the cell of our choice.
In such case I'll build 2 separate buttons.
Any ideas?
Cheers
