Microsoft Project disappeared

Hello,

I have a client who Microsoft Project 2019 application disappeared. I've try to reinstall it, reinstall Windows 10 on the pc but Project is disappering after approximatively one day. Have you ever encountered this problem ?

Hi Kevin,

Per my tests in version 1803 of Windows 10, I couldn't reproduce the same issue on my side. 

Besides, I notice that the version of the Project application is decided by the version of other Office applications on the PC. In this case, this issue may be related to the other Office applications installed on the user's PC.

Please check if you could fix the issue by updating the Office applications to the latest version with the steps in my previous reply.

If updating the Office applications to the latest version could not fix it, please also try the following process to fix it by Online Repair:

1. Search for Control Panel in the toolbar;
2. Open the Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > right click on Office 365 > Change > Online Repair.

If there is any update, please post back and let us further assist you.

Hi Kevin,

I have installed Project in version 1803 of Windows, as your issue mentioned that it happened one day after installation. I would post my result later. 

Meanwhile, as your Project is the latest version, to check whether this is related to other Office applications, please try open Word > File > Account > Update Options > Update Now to update other Office applications to the latest version.

If you couldn't locate Project in the list above, please try downloading it from this link and reinstall it.

If the above information couldn't help, please provide us the following information for further assistance:

1. Please tell us details of the version information of the client's Windows 10: Which Windows operating system am I running?
2. Please check if other people in the same tenant has this issue.
