Hello,
I am Parsa,
I am using Windows 11 Insider preview build 22000.176 in Beta channel but the widgets panel is old and looks alike the widgets panel on the first leaked versions of Windows 11. Following items are missing in my widgets panel:

  • Add widgets button
  • Profile icon and widgets settings
  • Widgets search box

And these functions are unavailable in my widgets panel:

  • Add or removing widgets
  • Move and adjusting the widgets
  • Customizing widgets

I have joined to the Insider program from Windows settings and I have not downloaded any ISO files from Internet.
Please fix this issue on the next Windows 11 cumulative update if it is a Bug. It seems the widgets needs to install again or maybe completely replaced with a newer version in my Windows 11.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have checked the file location of Widgets.exe and found the version code of this .exe file. please take a look to the summary:

As you can see here, widgets.exe is old and it is modified on June 5, before official release of Windows 11 on June 28, whereas I have updated to Windows 11 build 22000.51 on June 30.
Now, this is what I see in widgets:

So, How can I update widgets.exe?
Looking forward to your reply,
Best regards.

What you are seeing in the official release of the Windows 11 is the official design and it not bug.
However, you may open start and search for feedback and open Feedback Hub app and share your idea of how want it to be look like.
