Onenote shared using the "view only" link

Hello,

I was wondering if there was a way to see which Notebooks have active links and if you could disable them.

I shared my Notebooks as "view only" with some classmates but now I would like to revoke that and keep my notebooks private again.

Is there an option for temporary links ? that expire after, let's say 2 months?

We all used them to study for exams and now that they're over I would like to have power over my notebooks since i don't want just about anyone to see them.

I hope I was clear enough for you to understand my issue.

Best regards,

Sarra

Assuming that you are using OneNote 2016 and not the Windows 10 app (just called "OneNote"), here are instructions to "unshare" a notebook from within OneNote:

You can also open and login to oOneDrive using your web browser. To see who you have shared notebooks (or other files) with, click on "Shared" in the left menu. To "unshare" a notebook, right-click it and select "remove from shared list".

As far as I know, setting an expiration date for shared files (links) is a premium feature and not available in the free OneDrive. I'm ,not sure if this works for notebooks as well, but if so, you would most likely have to create she sharing link from within your browser on the OneDrive portal. There is no such option in OneNote 2016 nor in the Windows 10 app (yet?)
