Please could someone explain in excel under the page layout Ribbon how do you use the effect option.
I know it there for an effect. How do you use this - do you download a picture and change the effects. I have never used this function but alway wondered what it was in practical terms.

Hi Zia,
In excel you can add objects to your spread sheet like shapes and so on
Each object can have individual effects like dropshadow, border . . . etc.
That effect button is used to change the effect on all objects on your spreadsheet rather than individually . . .
