Read Aloud Missing - Word

I am having the same issue that was discussed here: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_word-mso_win10-msoversion_other/read-aloud/37693ba7-5862-4539-b53f-2e5745a5ea13

How can I bring the option back? To be clear, I am using the non Office 365 version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016. In my case, I do not even see the "Read Aloud" option in my command list to add back to the ribbon.

    Hi B_David,

    When did you start experiencing the concern?

    Any changes made on your computer prior to the issue?

    Have you tried any troubleshooting steps? If yes, what are those steps and did you get any error messages?
