Bug when aligning objects in Powerpoint

I keep coming across a bug in Powerpoint- when I select objects to align to each other, the program makes copies of the objects and moves those to the correct position, but leaves the original objects where they were. I then have to go back and delete all the old objects that are in the wrong position. It's driving me crazy. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Hi ShannonPHD,

You can let Microsoft know about it right in PowerPoint. Select Help->Feedback and you can report it directly to them so they can get it fixed.
