Excel 2016 - Data from Web - advanced option missing

Question

Hi,

I have seen in some tutorials that when we go to Data -> New Query -> From other sources -> From web there is an option Basic and Advanced. In my case, Excel 2016, Win 7, Office 365 Pro and I cannot  find it. 

Is there any work around to enable this option?

Hi Thiago,

From the screenshot, I believe you have Semi-Annual Channel of Office 365 ProPlus, your Office version is behind many updates. The current Semi-Annual Channel version is 1803 (Build 9126.2259), I’ll suggest you update Office and then check if you can see Basic and Advance option. For Office version information, please see Update history for Office 365 ProPlus (listed by date)

Hi Thiago,

I checked in the latest version of Office 365 ProPlus and I can see the options you mentioned. There are two ways to get this option:

1. Click Data tab>Get Data> From other Sources>From web.

     2. Go to Data tab, click From Web.

Since you are unable to see the option, I would like to collect the following information:

1. Please provide the screenshot of Office 2016 Product Information. To get this screenshot, open Excel on your system, click File>Account, capture the screenshot of all the information mentioned under Product Information.
2. What option do you get when you click From web?
