I need some help! Every time I use PPT when I'm in Zoom, the PPT crashes. I uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft and I was able to teach one class yesterday after troubleshooting. Today, it's not working again. I'm on a MacOS High Sierra. Please help! I'm missing my teaching right now because of this!

As soon as I experienced this problem, I contacted Zoom. Within less than 24 hours, they had developed a build specially for me to test. It solved the problem. Later I got an email confirming that this patch had been added to the publicly released version (4.1.30445.0820). I notice just now there is a new version which I have not yet installed or tested.

This version (4.1.30445.0820) solved the PPT issue for me. Hope it works for you as well. Thanks. m.

Hi Sheen, thanks for your reply. Sorry I was referring to the application zoom.us

I'm on a macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.5

    PPT Version 16.14.1 (180613)

This only happens when I'm using the Zoom application and have entered screenshare. Usually happens within 1-3 minutes of opening screenshare in zoom and going through ppt. My company said this is happening with other teachers who are on Macs

    Hi Hitching,

We haven't heard from you for a few days. Do you still have the crash issue?

    Thanks,

    Rena

    Hi Hitching,

Based on our article, Zoom is only available on Windows, so we would like to confirm some things in order to make sure we understand the issue:

    1. Your full OS version (Apple > About).
    2. Your PowerPoint version (located under PowerPoint > About PowerPoint).

    3. Try and create a new presentation to see if it also crashes.

    1. Restart your Mac and useSafe Mode to boot.
    2. Provide us with the detailed reproduce steps on how you create the presentation until the crash occurs while using it.

    Regards,

    Sheen
