I am using a shared computer to access my email and after logged into office 365 online or microsoftonline.com to access email, although I logoff another person can still open my email without a prompt for password. This is not secure on a shared computer. I reset Internet Explorer and delete all the browsing history, restart the computer did not help. Please advise. Thanks

    Hi D Ramdeen,

I noticed that you ticked the Preserve Favorites website data option when clearing the browser history. Please try to uncheck that option, in case the Office 365 Portal is included as your Favorites.

Additionally, we'd like to collect your account information to check your authentication type. If your organization uses a federated domain, it might be configured to automatically sign you in using your Windows user account, which is usually the same as your Office 365 account.

In this case, Office 365 will directly skip the password and authenticate using the domain account.

We will send you a private message to collect the account info, and we would like to get a video as well to confirm the behavior.

    Regards,

    Sheen

    Hi D Ramdeen,

Clearing a browser's history will not help clear the login session. Instead, you can delete the cookies. Cookies keeps your login sessions:

However, we would like to note that signing out of Office 365 should remove the session from the computer. We would like to know if you are able to reproduce the issue consistently, as you are correct that this is not secure.

    Regards,

    Sheen
