Error Protected sheet

Question

I was using excel this morning and all of a sudden all of the files I open are not allowing me to enter data. This error message is comming up on all files: "The cell or chart you're trying to change is on a protected sheet. To make a change, unprotect the sheet. You might be requested to enter a password."

My sheets are always locked with specific open cells.

According to your description, someone may have restricted editing rights

I want to know the place  files stored, SharePoint library, shared by others, OneDrive or local?

And how about new a Excel file, save and close. Does the same issue happen?
