Faysal is correct that you cannot save an Excel workbook file as a JPEG (or any other image file type). However, there is no need to involve any other software unless you choose to do so...

  1. Select the actual range of content
  2. Click the ▼ on the edge of the Copy tool, then select Copy As Picture
  3. Paste the picture into the blank area of a worksheet
  4. Right-Click the newly pasted picture
  5. Select Save as Picture, then choose JPEG as the Save as Type

I'm afraid that, you can't convert an Excel file to JPEG, but you can do it in other way.

    1. Select the cell range you want to convert to JPEG.
    2. Press Ctrl+C to copy
    3. Open a photo editor and press Ctrl+V to paste.
    4. Save the file as JPEG

    Hope this will help you.
