Cursor acting weird

Whether I'm using a mouse or the pad, the cursor will not go where I want it to go in my document. I can't even highlight a specific word.

    Hi,

    Try adjusting your touchpad sensitivity in Windows. Computers these days are a lot less rigid than they were a while back. Touchpads can pick up vibrations from typing or other movement even when you are not touching them.

    Does this happen in a particular document or in any document that you create in Word?
