I have 2016 Publisher that will not edit wrap points.  I now see that a  lot of people are also having this issue.  Is anything ever going to be done about it?

    1. Insert some text and a picture.
    2. Make sure the text is 'at the back'.
    3. Format the picture so that the wrapping style is either Tight or Through. Continue to keep the picture selected.
    4. On the Format menu select 'Wrap Text' and then 'Edit Wrap points'.
    5. You will then see that the picture displays the edit points. Add as many as you like by placing the cursor on the picture's outline then hold down Control and right-click. This will create another edit point which you can select and move.
    6. Do this as many times as you need.

You can do this if the picture is not formatted as either Tight or Through, but then when you move the edit points they are constrained to form a rectangular shape. If you want to follow the contours of an irregular shape then make sure that you select Through or Tight.

Yes I just want them to wrap around like the 2007 Publisher does.  It's says in all the tutorials that it does it but I can't get it to do it and neither can several other people who have posted on this forum.

If I remember right, the 'edit wrap points' only works if you have set wrapping to Tight or Through.

Ta, so frustrating, I use Publisher a lot and now have to jump between 2007 and the new one which has some great new stuff on.  A proper pain!!!!  Especially when you pay for something and some of it doesn't work, not really ideal!!!

There is no way to know if MSFT will decide to change the way Publisher works down the road, but since they made the change to how this works in Publisher 2013, I would not hold my breath.

Reference: The "edit wrap points" in Publisher 2013 don't seem to work. Is there a solution? : http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2013_release-publish/the-edit-wrap-points-in-publisher-2013-dont-seem/0743f0f5-8a6d-4659-8527-fc53e425cc43?page=1
