I downloaded MS project professional on 5th July 2018 onto my laptop for work use, on a months free trial basis with a view to continuing to purchase on a monthly subscription basis. Recently when I try to start project I receive a WINPROJ.EXE application error 'Application unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). I tried to repair/change in the control panel, however this only offers a temporary fix ( when I boot up again ). This means that every time I try to start project, and I get this error, I have to try and change/repair then boot up. This is not always successful. Prior to the last few days there had been no problems. Is there a solution ?

Thank you.

Adrian McLeod
