I have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016 - en-us, Version 16.0.11029.20079 installed.

Why is Windows Update downloading the following?

Security Update for Microsoft Excel 2013 (KB4461488) 32-Bit Edition

Security Update for Microsoft Outlook 2013 (KB4461486) 32-Bit Edition

Security Update for Microsoft Project 2013 (KB4461489) 32-Bit Edition

Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB3178640) 32-Bit Edition

Update for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB4461482) 32-Bit Edition

Thanks for the tips. I will have to wait until Microsoft's next update cycle to see if I'm still prompted to install Office 2013 updates.

Hi John,

This issue might occur due to the remnants of previous editions of Office. Since Office 2013 was un-installed we will try to remove any remnants which might still remain on the computer – causing Windows 10 to update Office 2013

You may run the FIXIT for un-installing Office 2013 from the following link:

https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Uninst...

Once completed make sure to restart the computer. Check if you are still being prompted to install Office 2013 updates.
