Typically, one would open the Details form from the double-click event of the List form.

Design the list form, then find the double-click event in the Properties window, click the … button and enter this VBA one-liner:

    docmd.OpenForm "Functions",acNormal, ,"ID=" & Me.ID

(I'm guessing at your object names; change as needed)

    Hi Hassan,

To better assist you, we would like to collect information about your situation. Could you please help provide some steps and related screenshots about how you create a database and the form there, so that we can test with full information on our side? Do you mean Form type below?

    Thanks,

    Tina
