Macro doesn't work properly after enabling content

Hi,

I am using a macro made by my company to create the format of my letters, reports,... I have a template which contains a macro. In the Trust Center settings, I have "Disable all macros with notifications" which allows me to run the macro if I consider them trustworthy.

Since the last update, I cannot run my macro properly this way anymore. I have the feeling that the macro is skipped when I launch it.

If I change the settings to "Enable all macros", then everything works perfectly. However, I don't want to enable all macros due to the risks of running macros with a dangerous code...

My Word version is:

Another computer with the version 1803 (Build 9126.2259) runs the macro without problems.

Is that a known problem which is going to be solved soon?

Thanks for your help

Joel

As I understand it, the macro settings apply only to macros in documents/templates that are not in Trusted Locations. If you store the template in the Word Templates folder or another Trusted Location, you should not have a problem regardless of your macro setting.

    Hi,

My understanding is that "Disable all macros with notification" does not allow you to run the macros, it tells you when you cannot.

I do not reccomend "Enable all macros."

Try saving your template in a "trusted location." This is another Trust Center setting.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.

    Regards
