Ink Tools Missing

I have a SurfacePro3 and running Microsoft Office 365. I have a Surface Pro pen that is paired with my Surface. But I can't use my pen on my Office suite of products. Pens are greyed out, and under Review I have a button for Hide Ink, but it doesn't toggle between Start Inking and Hide Ink. This is the same on Word, Excel and Powerpoint (the only Office tools I use that I think I can use Ink on).

I am up to date with my Updates, and my pen is brand new and works on OneNote so I know it is working.

    Hello SandraKorres,

You might need to enable the pen with each application where you found out that ink tools is grayed out. Before we proceed, we would like to know if the pen worked before with Word, Excel and PowerPoint?

In the meantime, you can try to launch Office in safe mode and check if the same issue occurs. Since the pen is not working on multiple Office applications, we would suggest that you repair it through the Control Panel. This will help us diagnose what causes the issue and find an automatic fix or provide you a troubleshooting steps that can help resolve the issue. You may check this link for the steps that you can perform in repairing the Office program.

We are looking forward to your response.
