A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Hi
You did not post your formula so…:
- Make sure your SUM formula says something like SUM(A1**:Z1) and not SUM(A1.**Z1)
- Check article #FIELD! error

When trying to sum a row of about 30-40 cells in Excel, I am receiving this error: #FIELD!
There are no other formulas or data type records in any of the cells. They are simple numbers (formatted as accounting) from about 30 fields.
Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

Is there any workaround or way to disable that functionality? I'm working with some legacy code that can't be edited that defined ranges with the dot rather than a colon, and it's breaking for users with newer versions of Excel.
