Not printing correctly

Pages are being skipped when printing.  I've done this the same way every week for the last 3 years, including last week. Nothing has changed. I've contacted Canon and it's not a printer issue. Anyone have any guesses???

Hi All,

I'd like to share a summary for the issue here which will benefit other community members.

Symptoms:

Booklet will not be printed well while it is showing correct content in print preview.

Environment:

Monthly Channel version 1812 (Build 11126.20266 Click to Run)

Assessment:

The issue will be fixed in the future release. We will post back if it is fixed in the new version.

Thanks,

Rena

    Hi Kimberly,

We need to investigate more to conclude it is Word application issue or printer issue then we can move forward in proper direction. If another user can print correctly, then the issue may be related to your Word; If you can test with another printer correctly, then the issue may be caused by the Canon printer. Since testing another printer is not an option, could you please check the print preview and share with us the result?

Meanwhile, I notice the printing is in landscape. Could you please try portrait?

    Regards,

    Tina

    Hi Kimberly,

The issue can not be on my side. The reason may be that I am using a different version and build. To narrow down the issue, I would like to suggest first checking the below methods:

    1. Go to File > Account > Product Information > Update Options > Update Now to click it to make sure you have the latest version.
    2. Make sure your Canon printer driver is up-to-date.
    3. Create a new document and save as template, and then print it.

If the issue still occurs, I would like to know more about the situation. Could you please help provide it?

    1. A screenshot of the print dialog window.
    2. The result of method 3.
    3. If possible, could you please test with another printer? Does the issue occur to other people in you organization? These results can help investigate the issue greatly.
    4. Your Office version ( File > Account > Product Information).

    Regards,

    Tina
