Can't sync section (Errorcode: 0xE00001AE bbcqg)

We use One Note to share project notes and taking meeting notes / meeting protocol during teammeetings.

All users get the same error message concerning the same section:

The above mentioned section already has been deleted completely. (The section is not in the recycle bin anymore, we deleted the section completely)

So why is One Note still trying to sync the section? How can we resolve this problem?

Btw. The error occurs even if we completely close the one note and re-open it again.

Any ideas?

Error occurs on:

macOS 10.13.5 (17F77) / One Note 16.15

Win10 17713 / One Note 1807

Thanx for your help!

Hi Tisky

Thanks for your reply.

Simply singning off and on again did not help. (On none of the devices)

We now tried to completely delete the mentioned section via One Note Online.

And Jippie Yeah: It works now. «Sync successfully completed»

Thank you for your help anyways! :)

Cheers

Luca

    Hi Dietiker,

Based on the error message, the section has corrupted. Since you have completely removed the section from recycle bin, you can safely ignore this error. But if you don't want to see the error message any longer, you can try signing out your account from OneNote 2016 for Mac, then resigning to check whether the corrupted section is still in the notebook.

    Regards,

    Tisky
