Save as CSV with UTF-8 encoding

Hello,

How do I save the Excel workbook to a CSV with UTF-8 encoding?

I try playing around and selecting UTF-8 in the Encoding tap of the "web option" from the "tools" dropdown menu in the save as dialog but the CJK character still shows up as ?????? in the saved CSV file.

Is saving as UTF-8 is a thing for Excel 365 in 2018?? I see people over on stackoverflow complaining and advise the programmer to just use Libre office for this job.

Thanks

When you do save as, you have CSV UTF-8 as one of the formats. Does it work for you?

hmm, some how I didn't see that. Maybe grouping the CSV option together and try to clean it up a bit might help.

    Thanks
