Protected Worksheet password corruption

using office 365 on password protected worksheet getting error that "password you supplied is not correct.   Verify that CAPS LOCK KEY IS OFF and be sure to use correct capitalization."

These files come to me every month, and the password has not been changed.  How do I uncorrupt, get beyond this issue?

    I found I was missing one detail of the password.  Problem solved!

    Also...the original copies which are still on my computer are giving the same error.

    Yes, they are sent to me in email and usually I just open, unprotect and unhide the worksheets, but none of them are accessable all of a sudden.

    Do you mean they are sent as an attachment in a mail? and if so are you 'save as' to the local PC before opening?
