OneNote crashes on Android

Question

Hi,

In the past couple of days OneNote crashes whenever I tried to open it. I submitted several feedback forms and did everything I could think of - clearing cahses uninstalling then reinstalling and restsrting the device. Nithing seems to work. OneNote is a critical app for me and really need to solve this problem.

OS is at Android 7 and latest update version is done

I had the same issue. Deleting the Microsoft Office account from the accounts settings section, rebooting and reinstalling app worked for me. Hope this helps.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet s3 and am experiencing the same exact problems. The application crashes within a few seconds of opening. I also have OneNote synced to my laptop, where some of my most recently taken notes (taken when the app was not crashing about two weeks) are available for viewing, but never load on my laptop. I am assuming this is because my tablet version of OneNote cannot sync to my laptop's version. 

This application is crucial for my work. I use it daily. Can you all please address this sooner than later?

Same issue, but on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Been working fine for almost 3 years. And now every app from microsoft (word, excel, powerpoint, but most disappoiting onenote) won't work, it just crashes.

Waiting for microsoft to solve this issue. I have already uninstalled the apps, cleaned the cache, restarted, reinstalled, but nothing worked.

Too disappointed.

I have same issue, samsung galaxy s7.  One note wont stay open, crashes.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and now it wont even load.  I have critical notes saved for work etc and now cant get to them. Tried accessing online, but just keeps starting the app.

Same issue. Google Pixel phone.

Onenote App recently started crashing on android phone. Uninstalled. Cleared cache. Cleared memory. Reinstalled. Restarted phone. Shows "getting things organised" and crashes. Can't use app. Been using for two years so large notebooks and lots of content. Can access via browser but cant open on phone as it defaults to the app. Very frustrating. Was a good app that I used alot. Please help!!
