I used to be able to create diagonal headers for my charts in Excel.

Can anyone tell me how to do it in excel 2016?

    Hi,

I hope I have understood your problem correctly.

Have a look at the following screen-shot and read the following:

    1. Select the cell which you wish to display/set as a diagonal header
    2. Right-Click the mouse button and select 'Format Cells'
    3. In the box which pops-up, select the 'Alignment' Tab
    4. Under the 'Alignment' Tab, you would see the encircled 'Text' with a line

        to the right side (horizontal).

You need to move this angular upwards (or downwards) based on the

manner in which you wish to display the header diagonally.

    Hope this Helps.

Ok I see now. Once you rotate the text, you have to select "All Borders" in order to get the boxes around the diagonal text.  This helped a great deal! Thank you bunches!!
