Windows(filename).activate not working

I have multiple workbooks where the function in VBA Windows(filename).activate does not work.

The same workbook functions in Excel 2010 but for Excel 2016 it is not functioning.  Some of the users for Excel 2010 have reported that a recent update that was installed caused the function to not work on their computers.

NOTE: filename in most of the workbooks i have is achieved by the function

filename=ActiveWorkbook.name

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
