cannot edit sharepoint survey

Question

I can't edit my survey.

I created a survey with questions, kept the link and shared it and people can submit to it and I can open excel and see the responses.

There is not Survey option in any ribbon - I cannot edit the survey (I forgot to put a title and subtitle in, I wanted to change that)

I tried creating some more, even simpler ones, but still cannot go back in to edit the questions etc. once it is saved. I can only see the results and use the usual excel online features.

I think by default the SP survey is set to only allow the survey taker to edit their response (which makes sense). You would need to go into the list's advanced settings and change that to allow anyone to edit responses.

Where do you create the survey, in a site in SharePoint Online, in Microsoft Forms or just in an Excel file?

From your description, it seems that you create a survey app as you mention that it is a SharePoint survey. If yes, about “ There is not Survey option in any ribbon - I cannot edit the survey (I forgot to put a title and subtitle in, I wanted to change that)”, could you upload some related screenshots for our clarification?

Note: Remove any private information before uploading the screenshots.
