I don't like the paragraph boxes.  How do I get rid of those silly dotted lines?  They're really distracting.

In the Windows version it is under advanced options under Show Document Content.

I hope that this is of help to you. I know the Mac version has the same optional setting.

See Text Boundaries Display in Microsoft Word.

    Hi,

I do not have a Mac and am writing from my experiences with the Windows version. That version is similar, but the two are not the same. While I used Word on a Mac, that was a long time ago. Nevertheless, I hope that I can be of some help.

You have turned on the option or preference for "text boundaries."

On the Mac, what are called options in Windows are called preferences.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any more questions or require further help.

    Regards
