Xcel wizard

My computer tells me that I have this installed and indeed it shows up at the end (in the x section) of my apps list.

However my Tarsi documents that require Xcel wizard to open will not open and I don't seem to be able to find a way to open them.

Also whenever I click on the app, an advert to download FileViewPro comes up, which then tells me I have the app installed.

I am going round in circles !!!!!

    Hi Gord,

    Thank you for your reply

I do have Office Excel installed, I have a monthly paid Microsoft Office subscription and I use the Excel spreadsheets regularly with no problem.

Its just the Tarsia files that I don't seem to be able to open

Someone has suggested that my office installation is faulty, well if it is, how can that be as Microsoft updates my laptop regularly? or why am I paying monthly for a faulty installation?

    cheers Rosie

If a search for Xcel finds the word Xcel in the X section that does not mean you have Office Excel installed.

    Try a search for Excel

    Hello crrw,

One of the reasons why you're unable to open Tarsi documents is that the application is damaged. For us to elaborate the issue, we recommend that you answer the questions listed below:

    • Are you only not able to open Tarsi documents? Or are you also not able to open other documents using the app?
    • Are there any changes on your PC prior to this issue?

For initial troubleshooting, we recommend that you repair this Office application. Here's an article that you can visit to see how to do it: Repair an Office application.

We're looking forward to your response.
