When accessing the SharePoint page an error is displayed that something went wrong. If I choose a different view, the file appear, but the filter options do not.

This is the message in classic view:

TypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property 'lastIndexOf' of undefinedTypeError: Cannot read property '_events' of null

How can I get this view to display the content again?

    Hi Jim,

I was able to rebuild the page to get my team working again. I'm still not sure what happened though.

    Thanks,

    Hi Melissa Jovingo,

Based on your description, you would like to access the library on SharePoint page. After checking your screenshot and error message, I would need more information to identify the scope of the issue. Could you help check the followings on your SharePoint site?

Check to see if your other lists in the same site have the same problem.

Check the library in issue if it is a picture library or document library.

Additionally, as the issue may be caused by abnormal actions on list/views, can you recall any modification on the list/view before the issue appears, for example: any edit on list settings or any edit on library items.

    Regards,

    Jonk

    Hi Jonk,

Thanks so much for the reply.

    1. This is the only list we are currently utilizing SharePoint online for, so I can't confirm if it is happening on another list.
    2. It is an asset library.

As far as I know, no one has made any edits since we created this page. It has only been used for a couple of months.

    Thanks!

    Hi Melissa Jovingo,

    Thanks for your reply.

I create a new document library and upload some files, while they display well when I set filters form my side. I would like to suggest you check the following:

       1. Check it whether work normally in Classic experience: In the lower left corner of the document interface, you can         click Return to classic SharePoint to enter the classic SharePoint.

       2. Create a new document library to verify whether it could be used as normal.

       3. Ensure your library document is under the 5000 View Threshold.

For identify the scope of the issue, could you provide the information below about this document library?

1.A full screenshot about columns you set in the document library.

2.Do other users encounter the same issues when they set filters in the same document library?

    Regards,

    Jonk

    Hi Jonk,

    1. I've already tried in Classic and posted the error in my original post.
    2. I have tried creating a new view, which did not resolve the issue.
    3. There are only about 600 images uploaded to the library.

    1.

    1. All users are experiencing the same issue.
