Excel Map Great Lakes Problem

Hi Rena, 

I am this same issue in excel maps. Please see below. My data in Michigan is covering the great lakes. Please let me know how I can fix this.

Microsoft 365 and Office | Excel | For home | Windows

    Here is the information you requested.

    1. Screenshots:

    a. A screenshot of your sample data in Michigan.

    b. An image of the desired result. Please add some comment about the desired result on the screenshot you have already provided.

     this without the great lake portion covered by the county data.

    Same map but without the lakes covered similar to this (without the roads, etc.)

    1. Detailed steps and related screenshots about how you create the Map.

    Select data ----> Insert ----> Maps ---->filled maps

    Result = 

    1. Your operating system version and Office version.

    Windows

    For Office version, you can find it by clicking File > Account > Product Information. Please capture a screenshot of the entire information under Product Information.

    Windows

    For Windows OS version, press Windows key + S to search for About your PC and share with us its screenshot.

    For Office version, you can find it by clicking File > Account > Product Information. Please capture a screenshot of the entire information under Product Information. And please mask your Personal Identifiable Information.

    Mac

    For Mac OS version, from the Apple menu, choose About This Mac. The version number appears beneath “macOS” or “OS X.”

    For Excel version, choose Excel in the top menu bar > About Microsoft Excel and please capture a screenshot of the window. And please mask your Personal Identifiable Information.
