Hi all,
I'm experiencing a very strange issue with a document and hoping someone will have seen this before and can help solve the mystery. I have a document from a user that was complaining about documents not printing to our printer. Upon troubleshooting further,
I've discovered that this particular document will not print to any of our printers NOR will it print to a PDF or XPS document if you select specific pages (5-6 in this example) to print. If you select a page in the print dialog box, then click print, the
document generates a single, blank page no matter how many pages you select to print. However, if you print the entire document...it will print fine...both to PDF and to any of the printers on our campus. I've searched for Hidden text and included those
in Word Options, and used CTRL-H to find Manual Line and Page breaks (non found). I can also replicate this on other computers using the same document.
One additional note...if I save this file as a PDF using the File-->Save As, I can then open the pdf and print the specific pages I need without a problem.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why Word will only generate blank pages when printing specific pages from this document?
Thanks in advance! I've instructed the user to use the File--> Save As --> PDF as a workaround, but would love to discover the cause of this.
