Sharepoint Online quick edit issues

Hello

I'm having some problems related to sharepoint online and quick editing in modern view.

When I open an imported list from excel even if the modern view is out of the quick edit, randomly I sometimes open that list in quick editing.

Also when I apply a filter outside of the quick edit and change to the quick edit, this filter is lost

Any suggestions?

    Hi Adr91,

If you are using Modern View, the Filter icon will disappear when we access Quick Edit mode, which is the expected behavior. Only the filter content will be applied in Quick Edit mode.

If you are using Classic View, I would like to confirm if you follow Use filtering to modify a SharePoint view to filter list items on your end.

Please also provide some screenshots of the situation on your end for us to better understand the situation from your side.

    Regards,

    Eli

I have created several views in different modes and it happens in all of them. but this same out of the modern vision of the sharepoint page does not happen, when entering in fast editing saves the filters placed on the classic vision of sharepoint

    Hi Adr91,

May I know if you follow Create a list based on a spreadsheet to create the imported list from Excel? If so, could you help check if the issue occurs in all lists or the certain lists via the importing method? If it's the certain list, this might be related to corrupted list view. We would suggest you re-import the spreadsheet to a new list to see if it can be fixed.

If you are not follow that article to import list from Excel spreadsheet, please also share the steps you do with us to better understand the situation on your end.

    Regards,

    Eli
