OneNote Android App - Section Groups Unable to Collapse (Ongoing Issue 2+ Years)

Hi team

I have noticed that on the OneNote app for android, section groups are constantly exploded, and whenver you press them to collapse them, the section group "flashes" as if to register the touch.... then remains exploded.

The corresponding free desktop version, with the same aesthetic design for section groups as is with the app, clearly shows that they are intended to be collapsed... But the app does not allow this.

For a product that is ESSENTIAL for organisation, the inability to collapse irrelevant sections and data makes using the mobile app a nightmare, thus forcing me to bring my laptop wherever I go in order to comfortably access my notes.

If anyone can help with this, that would be great.

    Hi Kris!

Thank you for getting back to me.

Unfortunately, it appears this issue has been posted on the OneNote forum well over a year ago, as evidenced from the following link:

    https://onenote.uservoice.com/forums/327162-onenote-for-android/suggestions/20519704-section-and-section-groups-like-windows

It seems nobody from the dev team/forum mods have taken notice and/or replied to it.

As this is definitely a technical issue, evidenced by the correct functionality of the Windows 10 version, yet lack of function when a section group is touched on the app...*

*(both versions share the same aesthetics, with section groups on the app showing a down facing arrow indicating that they are "expanded", yet do not collapse and point sideways, like they do on the windows version)

...Is there anyway to guarantee that a member of the software dev team will provide a brief reply to at least show recognition of the report?

    Kind regards
