I have been receiving multiple calls from Teacher users in our school district. When students attempt to open word documents house on their Office 365 accounts they receive an error. This is also affecting Word documents used within the Microsoft Teams
application. We've noticed three different symptoms, the first is an error message being displayed, the second is a yellow banner telling to save the latest changes, and the third is an endless loop that attempts to load the document.

Sorry for all the inconvenience.
We just tested from our side with a test account and we didn't encounter the same issue.
We suggest your users try to Edit it in word or using File > Save as to download a copy of it.

We also would like to confirm whether it happens to other document or file types?
