Planner does not show comments

We are trying to use Microsoft's O365 Planner as a board for ideas.

Lately we discovered that comments that are written on tasks are not visible within the board. The task does show an icon that it has comments, but when you open it, there are no visible comments. We know the comments do exist since we seen them in the outlook's conversation.

Can anyone help?

    Hi Tina,

    Yes, I confirm the behavior. I also saw that when I write the comment, it immediately disappears. I don't need to reopen the task to not see it.

    1. All plans that I use are affected. I created a new plan for you, and it is also behaving this way. By the way, our policy is not to allow creation of plans from the planner hub. Instead, I created the new plan from Teams. Also, in Teams (using the desktop application), the comments do show up.
    2. They show up in the Teams desktop application. They don't show up in the Teams via browser (Chrome and IE11)
    3. It does occur to other people. As far as I checked, no one is able to see comments on the plan we work on.
    4. Didn't try this yet, but I am not sure that it makes any difference, since all users (that I know of) are affected.

    Thanks for the query and we are here to assit you on this.

    I would like to confirm if you see the following behavior:

    You open Planner from Office 365 app launcher, from Planner Hub*, you click the name of the plan. Click any existing task, type in* Comment box and hit Send*. Now you close the task (by clicking the cross icon on the top right corner of the task window), once you re-open the task, you see all the comments are gone*

    If yes, the issues you have described can not be reproduced on my side. To narrow down the issue, please share with us the below information:

    1. Please confirm if it occurs to a new plan and the number of affted plan. Are all the plans affected?
    2. Do comments show if you try different browser and InPrivate one?
    3. Does the issue occur to other people in your organization? Is the issue related to your account?
    4. If possible, please test your account on another computer in private network to check results.
