I have Word 15.13.3 on Macbook Air.  This is the menu. I want to add a Print icon  on the toolbar.  How  can I do that?

Before anything else you'll first need to update your Office software. The build you cited dates back to August of 2015. Your version of Microsoft AutoUpdate [MAU] must be equally obsolete so it is unable to recognize the updates that are available.

Further, v15.13.3 is an obsolete Volume License release [for businesses] so you may need to contact your IT department to update it for you if you're still eligible.

If your License still is in effect & you have the option to update on your own, you can download the MAU update by clicking this link.  After installing it Restart your Mac then launch one of the Office programs. You shortly should be prompted by MAU to update to the current release for your License type... If not, go to Help> Check for Updates to launch MAU in order to retrieve the Office update.

Once the software is up-to-date you'll have the option to customize the Quick Access Toolbar [QAT] by going to Word> Preferences > Ribbon & Toolbar - Quick Access Toolbar but I don't believe the Volume License for Mac Office 2016 provides the option to customize the Ribbon.

Apple never sold Macs with Office pre-installed, though an individual dealer might have done such a thing. So you most likely bought it as an extra.

If you bought it online, you would have received an email with a download link and a product key. If you bought it on a disk, you would have a DVD case with the product key printed on it.

Unfortunately, Microsoft has closed the activation server and telephone line for 2011, so it's no longer possible to activate with your old product key, even if you could find it. You're better off moving forward and updating Office 2016 as Bob has suggested.

Bob is also correct about only being able to modify the QAT using the retail version. Ribbon mods are not allowed.

Ah! Thanks for this.  What happened is I had to totally re-install the OS on my Mac. This meant a total wipeout of data and applications.  The shop did that for me, and I asked them to replace the MS Office suite that was on the Mac originally.  So it seems they have used their own Business version.

When I bought the Macbook Air (2014), would it have had MS Office included?

If not,  I may have bought it as an extra? How would I tell?

How would I reinstate my original MS Office suite?

    Best R.
