Problem with "Date Picker Content Control"

Whenever I use the Date Picker Content Control to add a fillable "form" in which you can pick the date and time, only the date function works properly. No matter what date I choose in the drop-down menu, the correct date is displayed inside the box, but the time ALWAYS defaults to 12:00 AM for NO reason, especially considering in the "Properties" menu it displays the correct time. What's the deal with this? I can't find anything online pointing me to anyone with the same problem and/or the solution to this problem.
